Brand new for 2025, we have released 2 new products following successful trialing over the past few months.
Firstly we have our brand new Quickglass + Seal. As the name suggests, this is a variation of our now legendary, award winning Quickglass formula but with a long term water repellent sealant. The cleaning power and clarity of Black Diamond Quickglass needs no introduction and is now available as a single use glass cleaner and sealant, keeping application extremely quick and easy and eliminating the need for multiple products. Quickglass + Seal is a premium product which is acid free and uses durable 'ceramic' silicone technologies which provides far improved longevity over typical rain repellent glass treatments.
Secondly we have Screenwash + Seal Concentrate, created by taking a variation of our new sealant technology and applying it to our Screenwash Concentrate formula as well. The resulting product is a pleasantly fragranced, pH neutral and acid free concentrate which is diluted 1:10 for summer use and 1:5 for winter use and provides a water repellent coating lasting up to 2 weeks to the vehicle windscreen whenever screenwash is applied. Just like our old formula, the screenwash solution provides effortless and streak free cleaning, protection from freezing in cold weather and is 100% free from cost reducing ethanol or methanol which can cause rubber damage and cracking to windscreen wipers, windscreen seals and surrounding rubber trim. Screenwash + Seal also does not damage vehicle bodywork or any pre existing coatings and does not cause product build up and residue over time.
The water repellent coatings provided by both products offer several key benefits over conventional glass cleaners and screenwashes:
Firstly the hydrophobic coatings provide self clearing of the vehicle windscreen when driving in rain, helping massively with visibility and safety in bad weather.
The water shedding also slows the build up of traffic film, keeping the treated vehicle looking cleaner for longer and once again aiding with visibility and safety.
Quickglass + Seal also offers a wet and glossy look to treated glass, boosting overall appearance and taking your valet or detail to the next level.
The protective layer also prevents contaminants from bonding to glass meaning traffic film build up is easier to wash away in future, and regular use helps prevent the built up layer of embedded contaminants so common on used vehicle windscreens.
Finally the resulting coating provides a silicone rich, slick surface which helps the vehicle's windscreen wipers to glide smoothly and keeps the rubber contact edge in optimal condition, preventing 'juddering' and prolonging the life of the wiper blades themselves.
